It’s a pretty cool show because there are different levels, leading up to the work being displayed for a national audience. The show that opens this Friday, March 2, has work from several Chenango County schools. Artists who are chosen at the county level go on to a show held at Munson-Williams-Proctor Art Institute in Utica. If the artist’s piece wins at the regional level, it will go on to be displayed in the tunnel leading to the United States Capitol building in Washington, DC.
Please join us at the opening reception
this Friday, March 2nd
in the Arts Council gallery
located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich.
Congratulations to Stephanie (2nd place Photography and Honorable Mention Mixed Media), Mallory (Honorable Mention Drawing), and Nicole, who all participated in this year’s show!
